Apple MacBook battery needs a replacement?

A customer brought an Apple MacBook in to the Tech-Shed as the track pad would not work.

On opening the device the Apple MacBook battery was swollen and needed to be replaced, this was putting pressure on other internal components and damaging them.

This battery was 9 years old, the average battery lasts 5000 charge cycles before they deteriorate.

We replaced the battery with in a couple of hours and and the device was like new again.
